Our Story
Rock Creek Manor began with a conviction: the senior living industry needed to do better.
Our seniors built this nation. They raised families, went to war, and used their gifts and talents in service to others. They established a heritage of hard work, faith, and service.
We believed seniors deserved more than simply a place to live. We envisioned a countryside community where every detail, from the surroundings to the care we provide, is thoughtfully considered. Our purpose then, as it is today, was to make this season of life a beautiful one.
Rooted in Healthcare
We come from generations of healthcare practitioners, including a beloved small-town pediatrician whose compassion, wisdom, and dedication shaped our values.
Why We Chose This Land
We chose to put down roots here for the lush natural beauty, peaceful countryside, and exceptional setting it offers residents. Today, we welcome seniors and families from across North Georgia, from Blue Ridge to Woodstock, who value a more personal approach to senior living.
What Makes Rock Creek Manor Different?
Because we live in the community we serve, we are attentive to suggestions and eager to engage with the staff who are the heartbeat of the company. We are on site and available. Our culinary crew cooks every meal from scratch, including breads, entrées, and desserts, and we serve the best sweet tea around. Our on-site salon and spa offers cuts, color, wash and sets, manicures, pedicures, and hot shaves, with lots of good conversation.
Special events bring hors d'oeuvres, teas, and happy hour finger foods. A flock of foster sheep and two foster donkeys, Samson and Gideon, live on the grounds. The monthly rate does not rise each year.
