What is Independent Living?

Independent living is a residential rental option for seniors who want to maintain their independence while enjoying the convenience, companionship, and amenities of a senior living community.  There are no upfront fees or long term contracts.  

Residents have their own private apartment and manage their daily lives without the responsibilities of maintaining a home. Services such as meals, housekeeping, transportation, activities, and property maintenance make everyday living easier.

Unlike assisted living, independent living is designed for seniors who do not require routine hands-on assistance with personal care.

The property is breathtaking! My wife and I attended their open house of Songbird and did a tour of the apartments. The staff was so helpful and Jess did a great job with our tour. Everything was clean and crisp and even had a mountain view! This is one of the nicer looking ends of Jasper. Highly recommend visiting.

Yes. With supportive services and a collaborative care plan, aging in place is possible. Independent Living residents have priority access to full-time personal care on our campus. When 24 hour watchful oversight and physical care are necessary, we are able to help.
